The term 'dohar' comes from the Hindi word 'dohrana' which means layers. These traditional Indian sheets are made-up of three layers of mulmul, an airy, ultra-breathable cotton muslin once exclusive to royalty. The middle layer is printed and the two outer layers plain, which results in a gentle, knocked-back print.
