The term 'dohar' comes from the Hindi word 'dohrana' which means layers. These traditional Indian sheets are made-up of three layers of mulmul, an airy, ultra-breathable cotton muslin once exclusive to royalty. The middle layer is printed and the two outer layers plain, which results in a gentle, knocked-back print.

Summer Solution

This marvellously soft, easy to wash, gorgeous to look at, 'triple layered' sheet is perfect for summer. The middle layer has the print. so I see it as a gift and wish I could unwrap it! I survived summer thanks to this Dohar. It's soft enough to feel cool, but enough weight that you feel you have something over you. This is the best summer find.
