Every vintage kantha is created from five to seven layers of old saris. For centuries, poor Bengali women have stitched these together with row upon row of tiny running stitches to create treasured throws to keep loved ones warm. Each vintage kantha is unique and all differ in size. Use as a layer on the end of a bed, to drape over a couch or armchair, or as an elegant  tablecloth.
